Erba, Houyi, Proprietary Red & “Mrs.”

Wine Partners’ Autumn Allocation

Reserved exclusively for our Partners, this is a quiet study of four micro‑lot reds from Napa's heights. Each wine is barrel‑selected from stony parcels above the fog line and released in scarce quantities. Your personal concierge will contact you shortly to coordinate expedited, temperature‑controlled shipping, confirm timing, and note any delivery preferences.

2021 Erba Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

High on Atlas Peak’s southeast volcanic slopes above the fog line, Erba brings mountain power with a cool, iron‑tinged precision. Cassis, blueberry, and blackberry lift with violet, bay leaf, cocoa, and a graphite line, while the site’s red ferrous stones add a savory echo. Silken on entry, the wine gathers into a finely knit frame with mineral tension and quiet persistence. Aged 20 months in 100% new French oak. Bottles made: 996, to be enjoyed 2023–2041+.

2021 Houyi Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Carved from Pritchard Hill’s rocky crest at ~1,300 feet, Houyi marries plush depth to crushed‑rock precision. Black cherry, blackberry, and cassis meet mocha, cacao nib, and warm stone, with a subtle sanguine thread that keeps the wine taut. Powder‑fine tannins shape the richness into a sculpted, persistent finish that lengthens with air. Aged 20 months in 100% new French oak. Bottles made: 984, to be enjoyed 2023–2041+.

2021 Napa Valley Proprietary Red

A Cabernet‑led conversation between hillside parcels—Erba and Houyi for line and power, Sugarloaf’s Merlot and Cabernet Franc for plushness, and Phelan for lift.  Black cherry, mulberry, and warm cassis unfold with rose, cocoa, and pencil shavings, as the wine moves from a silken opening to a finely wrought, elongated finish.  The harmony favors proportion over opulence, inviting reflection across the flight. Aged 20 months in 100% new French oak. Bottles made: 984, to be enjoyed 2023–2040.

2021 "Mrs."

A micro‑cuvée cask marriage from our most exacting mountain exposures, “Mrs.” speaks in hushed intensity and layered detail. Black currant, blueberry, and black cherry rise with incense, graphite, and dark cocoa, settling into a velvet‑textured palate that unfolds in slow, confident waves. The line is unbroken and unhurried, with depth carried by finely grained tannin. Aged 20 months in 100% new French oak. Bottles made: 696, to be enjoyed 2023-2048.
