2021 Institution Erba Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Sun breaks over Atlas Peak and Erba’s red volcanic stones answer with an iron‑tinged energy. This Cabernet layers cassis, blueberry, and blackberry with violet, bay leaf, cocoa, and a cool graphite line. Silken on entry, it gathers into a finely knit mountain frame, the finish long, savory, and unhurried.

2021 Institution Houyi Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

On Pritchard Hill’s stony crest, the namesake archer’s precision feels baked into the slope. Black cherry, blackberry, and cassis meet mocha, cacao nib, and crushed rock; a subtle sanguine thread keeps the wine taut. Powder‑fine tannins shape plush depth into a sculpted, persistent finish.

2021 Institution Proprietary Red Wine

A conversation between hillside parcels: Erba and Houyi bring line and power; Sugarloaf’s Merlot and Cabernet Franc add plushness; Phelan lifts. Black cherry, mulberry, and warm cassis unfold with rose, cocoa, and pencil shavings. Silken at first, the wine lengthens across a fine frame, finishing quiet and assured.

2021 Institution MRS.

A micro‑cuvée cask marriage from our most exacting mountain exposures, “Mrs.” speaks in hushed intensity. Black currant, blueberry, and black cherry rise with incense, graphite, and dark cocoa; the palate is velvet‑textured and deeply layered, the line unbroken and unhurried.

2018 Praying Mantis - In the stillness of a vineyard morning, the praying mantis waits – poised, patient, deliberate. Its presence is a quiet reminder that true strength often hides in stillness, and that mastery is born not of speed, but of intention.
